The (once) humble beach box has long been a feature of Port Phillip Bay, and in particular the Mornington Peninsula. Often passed down in families through generations, these eclectic shacks have seen many a sou’ west wind.

In creating this photographic beach box study, which I’ll admit have been photographed to no end, my aim is to do justice to their humble beginnings with a discerning eye for authenticity of place and environment.
